2/17/23: Moving forward; Field Trip to Redline Art Gallery

Last week, my class and I did not have to do a blog because we had a first production pass. On Friday morning, I unfortunately was not able to attend because I was selected to be on the 2023 Talent List with Frame Work. They are the organization that supports 3D Artists, Game Developers, and other Fine Arts students to network with any jobs that relate towards our skills and passion. I met a couple of studios that I am interested to try for internship position. Some are involved in Live Virtual Production and Live Broadcasting for entertainment. Some of them support Riot Games and Industrial Light & Magic for creating visual effects, camera shots, and all kinds of resources for using gaming software programs like Unreal Engine. I am looking forward to see what other job opportunities out there.
What I heard with my team and the rest of my colleagues last week was we have put a lot of great progress on putting things together. I think this semester has put me into a lot of confidence with my team because I see that we got a lot of support from our faculties. They gave us a lot of advices on what to focus on and what can we do better. While we have been working our short, we have a person who creates music, and he studies sound recording arts. I listened to his work. The music sounds very traditional and pleasant. I have listened to a lot of Chinese music before. I believe he was going on the right track. Also, I had feedback that our characters are finally well done, and it is looking like they are in the "same world." I am happy that my colleague, Jess Fields, and I have finally made our characters in a finalized version, and it is ready to start texturing.
As we will be going for this Friday's class, I am assigned to participate in Redline Art Gallery in Denver. I will be gathering notes about the place and see what the space looks like. It will be my first time discovering the gallery in person. I am looking forward to support my team about preparing our upcoming event for publishing our senior short animated film. I believe that we will do our best to get it done.
