As my team and I have been making lots of progress this semester, I am super proud that we put lots of hard work even that we experienced some ups and downs. We wrote and collaborate together about our goals and plans before our semester ends in a week.

Looking back from the very beginning of Fall 2022, I already knew that time flew by quick. Like I said previously, when I modeled the protagonist character, it did took me a while. As I have been looking at the results and the progress I did from the beginning till now, I still do not want to stop saying that I am proud of myself. I want to thank my team for giving me a huge support and for believing in myself that I can do it.

Now that I discussed about my plans before winter break starts, here are my priorities:

  • Texture the Hunter in Substance Painter (I need to discuss with those who are focusing on texture on how do we want our texture style to look); double check if the Hunter is missing anything such as teeth and tongue before it goes to facial animation.

  • Double check the 3d assets that are missing and needed for any shots and/or if there are any assets that needs to be textured.

  • If there are no other works to do, I will support the animators to start animating the characters and choose which shots that is available to work on.

  • Check if they need help on lighting (I realized lighting is not signed up a lot but I am also interested in lighting)

Now that we will come to the end of the fall semester, we are halfway of our senior year and almost done with this senior short film. I really hope that when we hit the new year, it will be our new next chapter. I feel everything is going in a good progress and we are going to get this done in spring. I am looking forward to it.
