Rosenberg was our last castle tour visit. Our dormitory lives right next to it. Around the castle, it has a nice park for people to walk around and see their fishes, and they have benches and a cafe for people to relax and read a book. After we browse outside of the castle, we entered inside. There were a lot of paintings, furnitures, and sculptures. I realized there were so many mirrors hung up on walls. They also put their treasure in the basement. My favorite part of the castle tour is the top floor. It was very spacious and well-organized of royal chairs and portraits.

Light and Space Exhibition at Copenhagen Contemporary Museum was our optional visit. The whole exhibition contains all the light installations and spacial aspects. I really admire how light and space are proven to be part of art. I feel lights has cool ideas to make our minds calm.

There were two lighting installations I really enjoyed which were Doug Wheeler's LC 71 NY DZ 13 DW and James Turrell's Aftershock. I unfortunately could not capture images nor record any videos because the museum did not allow photography for those two installations. I read about Doug Wheeler from the information book. I found that he grew up in the desert from Arizona. He did amazing drawings for abstract ideas on space. The reason why I admire Doug Wheeler's installation was because it contains so much space in a dome structured room. Around the dome room, the environment was lavender color. When I walked inside, the installation also contains the horizon light, curvature aspects, and sound effects of our body movements. It felt like it was my own sense of place I could relax at. The only question I wished I ask was why he named it, LC 71 NY DZ 13 DW? The second installation I really enjoyed was James Turrell's Aftershock. The installation felt almost similar as Doug Wheeler's work, but it contains psychological effect called "Ganzfeld effect." James Turrell focused on the perception of light. He wanted us to see the light itself. When I read his biography, he studied psychology, astronomy, and mathematics. He learned about the theory of perception which led him go into art. Before we walked in, I thought it was just a square light on the wall, but when you come closer, it became an entrance and a huge room. We had to take off our shoes. When we stood in the middle of the site installation, the lights were slowly changing colors. We had to spend time there for fifteen minutes until we see more blinking lights. My vision changed while the lights were blinking. I saw some octagonal shapes. I thought I would get dizzy but I handled staying in there longer. Again, I really wish I could have capture some photos or videos of their work, but due to the museum policy, they say no photography.

After we finished our optional free time, my friends and I went to the Tivoli Gardens. I have been looking forward to see this amusement park in Denmark. There were fun rides such as roller coasters, swings, arcades, and so much more. I saw some pretty Asian architectures and entertainment. Even when you go there during night time, the lights were gorgeous. I am glad I had an opportunity to have fun. It's like going back to my childhood.
