5/27: On the way to Hillerod (Hillerod Castle)

The next place we were going is to Hillerod. We took the train again from Copenhagen to Hillerod. While we were walking around there, the nature was really calm. I saw a swan for the first time. I noticed there were a lot of mute swans around Denmark. After we walked around in Hillerod, we took a tour at the Hillerod Castle.

I really love the architecture and the statues. When we pass through the entry, outside the castle was very spacious. The fountain was in the middle. Most statues were placed by the walls.

There were so much paintings and wonderful interior designs. It almost reminds me of the Renaissance works. My favorite part in the castles were the roof artworks. The reason why I admire the roof work has so many 3d dimensional aspects and it is organized in interesting shapes and form. Some have colorful ones and there was a white sculpted roof work. The white artworks on the roof was moving, and I love how they made circular shapes to organize multiple details.
